If you are looking for the quick answer, not really. When internet marketing companies perform search engine optimization to market your company website they do not actually specialize in Google SEO or Yahoo SEO. The reason why they may state such things is because many people think there is a difference, so they use them as selling features to you. Some of the optimization features SEO agencies & online advertising firms try to sell companies on is actually quite deceiving.

However, considering Google is currently the biggest search engine - MyProSEO uses tools to get your website to the top of Google. Microsoft has invested several dollars marketing their new search engine Bing. Microsoft likes to refer to Bing as a “Decision Engine”. It is actually a very smart way of marketing them self. Somebody hears the phrase “Decision Engine” and ironically they open up Google and search “What is a Decision Engine”. Next they see Microsoft Bing's paid advertisement on Google (quick side note, searching Google in Bing brings up news results about the many mistakes Google has made - I got a chuckle from this). So now you open up Bing and your left thinking wait isn’t this just a search engine? Well watch this video and pay attention to all the features Microsoft is pushing.

All Bing has done is taken everything Google has done and in some ways organized it better. For example, in the video you probably saw Microsoft advertising their integrated shopping experience, well before Bing Google had developed Google Products. In other words, you can find everything Bing offers and more with Google.

Pro’s Bing has integrated their products into your searching experience. For some people this can actually get annoying depending on the experience you are looking for and what your searching for.

Con’s I am convinced that Google brings up better search results. Choose a search queries and search them. After a few searches it becomes evident that Google has a much better prediction system and knows what websites you want to see at the top of the search results.

Bottom Line Bing has some features I would like to see Google introduce however, if you are looking for a search engine or “Decision Engine” Google MyProSEO suggests Google.

Who would have ever thought this day would come. You can see a full report released by Google here. Google was very quick to react and fixed their server problems within 2 hours. It is not surprising to me that the Google team speedily fixed the issues. During the time Gmail was down however - It occurred to me how much I and many more people like me rely on emails; phone numbers, passwords and events that we may have planned.

I just finished watching the Google Wave preview. This lengthy presentation left me and speechless!
